Build on your lot

Your lot shapes the possibilities for your new home. Access, topography, utilities, drainage and applicable zoning requirements all need attention before a floor plan is finalized. Bring a property address, survey and any existing drawings to your initial discussion so we can identify the questions that need further evaluation.

Teardown and rebuild planning

If your current house no longer fits your needs, compare a new custom home with a major renovation or second-story addition. A rebuild can offer a different layout, but demolition, site preparation, utility connections and temporary living arrangements must be included in the overall plan. What affects the cost of a custom home?

Square footage is only one part of the budget. Site work, foundation requirements, structural complexity, windows, mechanical systems, kitchens, bathrooms and finish selections can materially change the cost. A useful estimate should distinguish construction from land, demolition and other project costs rather than relying on a single price per square foot.
